Carolyn Joan (Adams) Perry, 85, was called to the Lord on February 24, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Guy and Martha "Peggy" Adams.
Carolyn is a Christian and spent time as a Sunday School Teacher. She also modeled as a young girl. Carolyn was a bus driver for Decatur Township for many years. She had a great sense of humor. Carolyn was an avid horse enthusiast and rode trails all over the U.S. In her 70s, she rode in a two-seater Indy car, parasailed, and flew in a T6 Texan fighter plane.
Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Darrell David Perry and their 7 children, Daniel (Betty) Perry, Linda (Jim) Wray, Diane Tursi, Becky Gurrola, Michele (Ahmed) Shallali, Lori Perry and Jennifer Perry; sister, Sandra (Sam) Astley; sister-in-law, Sarah Adams; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Adams; parents, Guy and Martha Adams.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
