Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, March 2 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.. The service and interment will be held privately.
Ellie was born in Elizabeth, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Glen Ridge, NJ. She was employed as Vice President of J. R. Higgins Realty, Carlstadt, NJ for many years before continuing her career with Century 21/Semeio Realty, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ before retiring. She was a member of the Million Dollar Sales Club for over 25 years attaining the Silver Level. She also served on the Ethics Board of the Multiple Listing Service.
Ellie was a professional dancer on the Steel Pier in Atlantic City where she met the love of her life Don F. Williams who passed in 2014 after 60 beautiful years of marriage.
She is survived by her devoted children Kathleen “Kitty” Tedesco and her husband Lou, Leigh Ann Hanas and her husband George, Colleen Sowa and her significant other Peter Tighe, Margaret “Peggy” Cerimido and her husband Charles and Amy Fitton; her cherished grandchildren Michael Moran and his wife Kate, Lauren E. Sowa and her husband Tim Eliot, Jonathan M.C. Sowa and his wife Amanda, Logan C. Sowa and her finance' Scott Long, Hayley C. Cerimido, Dean J. Cerimido, Cole F. Fitton, and Claudia E. Fitton; and her precious great-grandchildren Trey H. Moran, Maddox T. Moran, and Sophia F. Sowa.
Ellie is predeceased by her husband Don F. Williams (2014), her son Thomas C. Williams (2009), her parents Thomas and Marguerite E. (nee McGuire) Corbett, and her brother Bill Corbett and his wife Peg.
