Jane E. Young, age 82 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at her home. She was born March 23, 1938 in Lebanon, Ohio, the daughter of the late David and Luella Stitzel.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, David Stitzel.
Jane is survived by her husband of 21 years, David; children, William Harris, Sara Harris (Wayne Dansberry), Kenneth (Debbie) Harris, Christopher (Joanie Grooms) Young, Kelly Young, LaDonna Young; grandchildren, Mandi Young, Marissa Phillips, Alyssa Hopkins, Samantha Young, Anthony Young, Skylar Shelton, Cody Young; 1 great grandson; as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Jane was an active member of Moraine City First Church of God since her and Dave joined in 2005. She retired from Macy's in 2010 after 25 years of employment. She loved to do puzzles, enjoyed working in her flowerbed and was an expert present-wrapper. More than anything, Jane loved her family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Moraine City First Church of God (5867 N Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45449). Funeral service will begin at 6:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at Jacksonville Cemetery in Peebles, Adams County, OH.
