Jimmy met a lady that stole his heart, Nancy Stevens and they were married on August 23, 2014 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren he adored. He enjoyed fishing & golfing. He was always there to help those who needed it. Jimmy enjoyed going with the Stevens Singing group and helping Jerry get things set-up. Nancy sung with her brother & sister-in-law and Jimmy was glad to help out.
Jimmy was very faithful to his church and church family. He was a member of Quinton’s Victory Worship Church.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Nancy McKinney of the home; his son, Jodie McKinney & Charidy Hayes of Enterprise; 3 stepdaughters & spouses, Dawn & James Roberts of Wichita, Kansas, Shianna Ward & Jacob of Hennessey, OK., Shayla & Shane McKinzie of Webb City, Missouri; grandchildren, Melissa Shaffer, Garrett McKinney, Jaxson Parkinson, Tomas Ward, Kenadee Ward, Samuel Ward, Emma & Hallie McKinzie, Evan McKinzie, Hope McKinzie, Lashelle & James Roberts; a sister & brother-in-law, Roxanna & Gary Powell of Enterprise; Aunt June Tinsley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, & other relatives.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Jodie "JC" & Almus "Shug" McKinney; a brother, Larry McKinney.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 1, 2021 in Victory Worship Church in Quinton with Reverend Rick Kerley officiating. Eulogists: Jerry Stevens, Bill Fitzer. Pallbearers include Jodie McKinney, Steve Powell, Dusty Powell, Wes Stevens, Jesse Purdom, Steve Kerns Gary Powell.
Burial will follow in Brooken Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
