Belton Daniel “Danny” Shaw - GARDEN CITY - Belton Daniel “Danny” Shaw, 55, of Garden City, GA., died Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Candler Hospital. He was born in Savannah, GA. and was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Shaw. Danny was a 1976 Graduate of Robert W. Groves High School, and was former Co-Owner of Prestige Florist. He was a Licensed Optician at the Vision Center at Walmart. He was a member of the Savannah Keltic Pipe Band. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garden City,GA. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Imogene Smith Shaw, a sister, Susan Elizabeth Shaw, and his brother, David Shaw (Bonnie), 2 nephews, David & Jason Shaw, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Fairhaven Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral Services: 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Garden City, with Rev. Larry Speir, and Rev. Ralph Wade, officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest West Cemetery. Mr.Shaw will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. Friday to lie in state. Remembrances: National Kidney Foundation.
