Kenny, as he was known to his family and friends, was born in Richmond, Kentucky on December 16, 1957. He worked for 27 years for Kentucky Eagle Beer Distributors as a Sales Administrator/Computer Technician. In his free time, Kenny enjoyed playing the Lead Guitar for his band, One Night Stand, and enjoyed photography, flying his drone, looking at the stars and working outside in his yard and garden. He was a member of Cedar Grove Church in Irvine.
Survivors include: his wife (love of his life) of 28 years, Joy Craft Stevens; his children, Sean (Kayla), Brian, Mandy (Austin), Taylan, as well as two who he helped raise and considered his daughters, Kayla and Makayleigh; one sister, Vicki Whitaker (Dean); five grandchildren, Whitney, Laken, Kennedie, Gavin and Madeline.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Harold Stevens; his mother, Helen Garrett Rhodes; and one brother, Harold “Buddy” Stevens.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., with Minister Norma Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.
The service may be viewed via a live-stream webcast which available on this page beginning at 1:00 PM Wednesday.
Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Sean, Brian, Austin, Noah, Mandy, and Kayla.
