LeeAnne Smith June 7, 1958 – February 21, 2021 The family of LeeAnne Smith, with broken hearts and deep sadness, want you to know that LeeAnne passed away unexpectedly at home on February 21, 2021. The Cobb Office of Georgia Cancer Specialists was fortunate to have LeeAnne as a Medical Laboratory Technician for 33 years. She was devoted to her patients and always demanded that each and every one of them receive the best and highest standard of care. LeeAnne loved to watch all sports; college football was her favorite, and the Georgia Bulldogs was “her” team! Because of LeeAnne’s career in the medical field for more than 40 years, she and Roger always wanted to make death a celebration of great memories and friendships they made during their years together. One of LeeAnne’s dreams was to help others with their pets.
In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at the following animal hospitals:
Highway 5 Animal Hospital
3340 Highway 5
Douglasville, GA 30135
Dr. Michael R. Kay

Sweetwater Creek Animal Hospital
2785 Lee Rd – B-10
Lithia Springs, GA 30122
Dr. Justin Verner.

In celebration of LeeAnne’s life, donations can be made to “In Memory of LeeAnne Smith” by contacting the Highway 5 Animal Hospital or Sweetwater Creek Animal Hospital.
LeeAnne and Roger were married in September 1993. For 31 years, they enjoyed life together with a close family and many good friends. LeeAnne is survived by her husband, Roger Smith; sister, Tracey Causey (Oliver); brother, Kyle Robbins (Deborah); brother, Craig Robbins (Kelly); and eight nieces and nephews.
LeeAnne’s wishes were to be cremated.
The family will hold a private celebration memorial in honor of LeeAnne.
