She was born on June 3, 1926 in Magnolia, Arkansas.
Arlene accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Greater St Paul Baptist until her health failed. Arlene attended school in Magnolia, Arkansas. She was employed by Ouachita Hospital from which she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sim Wyrick and Callie Mae Ellis-Wyrick; and six brothers: Roy Wyrick, Wilmer Wyrick, Wallace Wyrick, Sim Wyrick Jr, James Wyrick, and Archie Wyrick.
Arlene is survived by her children, Otha Wyrick (Linda) of Pine Bluff and Doris Thompson (Tina) of Hot Springs; six grandchildren: Curtis Franklin of Hot Springs, Larry Wyrick of Brooklyn, NY, Darlene Hicks of Hot Springs, Sherry Newborn of Hot Springs, Gregory Wyrick (Gail) of Hot Springs, and Leonard Lewis of Hot Springs; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; her niece, Rebecca Galbert; and a host of extended family, friends, and loved ones.
