TIMOTHY WAYNE DARNELL, 67, of New Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at his home. Born May 5, 1953, Tim was a son of the late Raymond and Frances Darnell. He was known for his stubborn personality, big heart, and contagious sense of humor. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran and retiree of Dana. His hobbies included cooking, collecting guns, and farting in public and blaming it on others. Surviving is his wife, Leigh Darnell; children, Nicki Latham, Nicole Kreis and Matthew Mills; grandson, Jaden Darnell; siblings, Lothar Sch”nberger, Dan (and Cathy) Darnell, Bill (and Cindy) Darnell, Carolyn Newhouse, and Christine Bartlett; and many beloved nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, close friends, and family of pets. He was preceded in death by his son, Bradley Darnell; and siblings, Steven Darnell and Raymond "Gene" Darnell. Per Tim's wishes, no funeral will be conducted, but a memorial service celebrating his life (location to be determined) will be held at a future date.
