Jacquelyn Ruth “Jackie” Smith, 78, of Big Point, MS, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Pascagoula, MS. Jackie was born on February 20, 1943 in Mobile, AL.
Jackie was preceded in death by her father, Irby Lins, step-father, Toxie Miller Sr. and two brothers, Robert “Bobby” Lins and Toxie Miller Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Edna Miller; children, Karen Elaine (Michael) Knapp, George Richard (Karla) Hall, David Wallace (Tina) Hall and Marcus Stanley (Farrah) Hall; grandchildren, Ashley (Malcolm) Thomas, Christopher (Randi) Knapp, Chad Hall, Michael Hall, Adam (Elyse) Hall, Heather (Charlie) Kirkland, Katelyn Hall and Dylan, Dawson, and Farren Hall; along with numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
The visitation for Jackie will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, MS. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ronnie Jarman officiating. Interment will be held at New Hope Gardens in Mobile, AL.
