Wichita, Kansas - Barbara Delores Leonard (Snethen) – Born October 29, 1936 passed away peacefully at her home on February 20, 2021 surrounded by family. Memorial at a later date. Barbara was born in Champaign, IL to parents Rollin "Kenneth" and Lucille Snethen. She married Robert David "Bob" Leonard on September 13, 1957, and they had four children David (Julie) of Parker, CO, Deborah (Ronald) Kinkor of Wichita, Steven of Wichita, and Ronald (Sandi) of Peculiar, MO. Barbara received her bachelor's degree in secondary education from Texas Tech University and was a loving wife, mother and homemaker, and she also taught junior and senior high mathematics as a substitute teacher, operated a tax preparation business as an enrolled agent, and enjoyed beadworking. Preceded in death by her parents, brother James, sister Marilyn (Clark), brother-in-law Richard (Reed) and brother-in-law Bill (Leonard). She is survived by her husband, sister Carol (Reed) of Ft. Worth, TX, brother-in-law Ralph (Clark) of Denver, CO, sister-in-law Billye (Leonard) of Richmond, VA, her children and three grandchildren.
