Lawrence I. Gill, 81, of Hermitage, PA passed away peacefully in his home on February 23rd, 2021 with his family at his side.

Lawrence was born in Sharpsville, PA on March 13th, 1939 to Gladys Elizabeth (Stull) and Howard Dean Gill. He graduated from Hickory High School. Lawrence worked for General American as a welder and also as an auto mechanic and painter. On August 11th, 1995 he married his wife, the late Martha A. (Sloan) Gill who passed away February 23rd, 2019.

He was a member of South Pymatuning Community Church where he and his wife volunteered regularly. Lawrence enjoyed making jewelry and was a member of the Gem club. He also enjoyed painting and working on cars.

Lawrence is survived by his children, Ronda (Rick) Minshull of Mercer, Melanie Cramer of Mercer, Jeffrey Gill of Hermitage, Kathy Gill and her companion Mark Joseph of Sharpsville, Tracy (Dan) Gilliland of Mercer, 14 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his former wife, Mildred Louise (Davis) Harris of Mercer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Naomi Byler.

Burial will take place in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
