Leta Luzier Price, of Pulaski, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was 88. When World War II began, Leta enrolled in nurses training and became an Registered Nurse. This was a profession she enjoyed for over 25 years.
She married Glen Luzier in 1949 and they had two children. Leta had a passion for her family and for music and she enjoyed vocal lessons and performing for years. But her main passion was her faith in Jesus Christ. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served in many ways throughout the years. She was also area representative for Christian Woman's Club, an organization that she loved and served. Her marriage to Glen lasted 49 years until his death in 1998.
Several years later she met Nathan Price, who was also widowed and they fell in love. To them their relationship was "a God thing" and they felt that God had brought them together to enjoy their later years--to love and support each other. They were inseparable and a beautiful testament to the power of love.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan Price; her children, Greg Luzier and Michele Van Epps; six grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at Stevens Funeral Home with the Rev. David Lones officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour from the funeral home.
