Dennis graduated from Roseville High School in 1966. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam in Berlin. He was a member of the American Legion Post#416, Eagles and Moose Lodge of West Palm Beach, FL. Dennis grew up learning the industrial painting business and eventually owned his own company by the time he was 30. He was an avid softball player, not only playing, watching and coaching as well. He also enjoyed basketball and watching the Detroit Pistons. He went out of his way to truly be a great friend to all. You could always count on Dennis, especially for his unique sense of humor!
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Wise of St. Helen; daughters, Casey (Lynn) Perryman of St. Helen and Megan (Drew) Roberts of Lapeer; grandchildren, Denny, Jane, Briggs and Levi; sister-in-law, JoAnn Wojtylko of St. Helen; and nieces and nephews, Wally, Jamie, Katie, Tony, Jimmy, Dennis, Gordie, Beth and great niece Madison (mad dog). He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James, Gordon and Lawrence.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private funeral service will be held. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen with veteran honors.
