Calvin was the son of Earnest Glover and Josephine Johnson Glover. He enjoyed reading his Bible and was a strong believer in the power of prayer. He spent long hours watching baseball and fishing. He was known for his warm sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ruby Lester and Bernice Jenkins and 4 brothers, Eddie Glover, Earnest Glover, Willie James Glover and Joe Glover.

Graveside services were held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 2PM in the Bethel Cemetery in Cordele, Georgia.
