Linda Gail Durham Cline, 77, of Kannapolis went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. She is now strolling over heaven with her Mom, Oscar and Josh.

Linda was born January 5, 1944 in Davie County, NC one of eleven children born to John Wesley Durham and Hattie Privette Durham. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by nine siblings; husband, Oscar Brown and grandson Joshua Wingler.

Linda was a member of Genesis Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren and staying at home. She lived her life for her family.

In early life she was employed with Cannon Mills in the bleaching department. She never met a stranger.

The family will celebrate Linda’s life with a graveside service at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 26, 2019 at Trinity United Lutheran Church Cemetery in Landis conducted by Rev. Gene Edwards.

Family members left to cherish Linda’s life are two daughters, Lisa (Jim) Wingler of Landis and Crystal (Robert) Royal of Kannapolis. She is also survived by three grandchildren; Ashley Wingler, Brooke and Hope Royal and a great grandson Luke Wingler.

She is also survived by her brother, Dwight Durham and numerous nieces and nephews.
