William Norman passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 72 surrounded by his family. He was born on Sunday, January 25, 1948 in Cerwensville, Pennsylvania to the late Theresa Rumfola and the late Charles Norman Jr. He was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana

Bill loved his family with all his heart but his grandchildren and great-grandchilden were his reason for living. He enjoyed cooking for anyone willing to eat and made sure there was plenty. He loved a crowd and showing off his cooking skills. Bill also loved spending time with his friends playing cards, hunting, fishing and going out to eat. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do if he set his mind to it. Bill was an exceptional carpenter and built beautiful cabinets for many homes and businesses. He never met a stranger and you knew where you stood with him.

Bill is survived by his wife, Carolyn Norman; children, Debbie Flanagan (Steve), Billy Norman n(Lauren), and Stormy Norman; grandchildren, Jared and Stevie (Bliss) Flanagan, Bailey, Abbey, and Reese Norman, and Zane Stevens; great-grandchildren, Logan, Tate, Levi, and Jaxon Flanagan; siblings, Leona Kinchen, Mabel Smith, Jackie Genco, Judy Covington, Charles Norman III (Daisy), Mona Milton (Wyman), Nancy Sparks, and Lucille Whittington; and the mother of Debbie and Billy, Margaret Norman. Special thanks to Bailey Norman, Jordan McFadden, Jill and Skipper Rayborn, Anthony Liuzza, and New Century Hospice espcially Jenet Becnel and Markel Rumfellow.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
