Carol spent many years working on the farm that her parents owned in Bainbridge, OH. After her parents stopped farming, they moved to Flagler Beach, FL where Carol was a factory worker for Command Medical Products in Ormond Beach which extruded plastic medical tubing. She was especially in awe of, and proud of, the tiny tubing made for hospital NICU units. Carol was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, serving for a time as the music chorister for sacrament meetings and as a ministering sister until her death. Carol loved to sit on her back patio and watch the rabbits and the various types of birds that frequently feasted from her birdfeeders. She loved to sing and oftentimes would break out in spontaneous song. She had a tender heart, and loved to smile and speak a kind word to anyone she met whether she knew them or not. Most of all, she loved her family.
She is survived by her 3 children, Alicia (Glen) Gay, Janice (Russell Jr.) Beatty, Gene “Jerry” (Glenda) Morgan; 8 grandchildren, Rebekah Cseke, Drew Davis, Gregory Davis, Zaundra McNew, Russell Beatty III, Sara Petty, Leonora Morgan, and Bud “BJ” Morgan; brother-in-law Leonard Parker; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 1 niece and 1 nephew; 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew. She was preceded in passing by her sister, Ellen Sue Parker.
Due to Covid restrictions the services will be private. Carol will be laid to rest beside her maternal grandparents at Stringtown Cemetery in Hillsboro, OH. Arrangements were entrusted to Flanner Buchanan – Hamilton Memorial Park.
