Memorial Services for Mr. Larry Melvin Webb, 73 formerly of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Zane Gray officiating. We respectively ask those in attendance to please wear a mask. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Larry was born September 14, 1947 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Melvin "Buzz" Borden Webb and Mrs. Dixie Jo (Howerton) Herrell. He departed from this life on Monday, February 22, 2021 in Ardmore.

Larry was raised in Wilson attending school there graduating Wilson High School in 1965 at the age of 17. He joined the United States Air Force in 1966 in Fairbanks, AK in the radar tower as a traffic controller. Larry did volunteer to go to Vietnam but was denied since he was the only son in his family. He was honorably discharged in 1970. Larry worked several different jobs but what he enjoyed the most was working for his step dad Jim in the oilfield and then eventually they worked together for the Bent Willow Furniture Company. He enjoyed fishing, bowling with Maci and being with his family.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his step father, Jim Herrell.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Layrn Maci Stevens and husband Bradley of Ardmore; sons, Jeremiah Webb and wife Alisha of Ardmore, Jaime Valcenia and wife Shalayna of Midland, TX and Eli Webb; sisters, Lisa Barbie and husband James of Lone Grove, Tina Bass and husband Eddy of Gene Autry, and Stacey Engelhardt and Jack Ferguson of Ringling; grandchildren, Emery Rae Stevens and Seth, Shyla and Summer Valencia; and by a host of other family and friends.
