She was born Aug. 2, 1914 in Leon, the daughter of Perry and Euphemia (Luttrell) Rigg. She graduated from Leon High School in 1933 and on April 10, 1937, she was united in marriage to Dewey Cavit in a ceremony in Leon. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1995. They lived in California for 28 years prior to moving to El Dorado in 1980. Louise was an Avon sales lady and homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Friendship Class and the Senior Citizens Research Club and Knife & Fork.
Those she leaves are: a son, David Cavit of Apple Valley, Calif.; nephew and caregiver, Richard Albright of El Dorado; granddaughter, Jeanecie McBurney and husband Gary; great-grandson, Justin McBurney; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded by her parents; a daughter, Carol Louise; a brother, John Rigg; and three sisters, her twin Lois Thompson, Dorothy Albright and June Merriam.
