Alton B. Cox, 82, of Elliston, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 11, 2014.He was a Floyd County native moving from Montgomery County until he resided his final months at Skyline Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his wife, Blanch M. Cox, just 8 months ago.
{REST} Alton is survived by his step- daughter, Arvenia "Beanie" Howard and her husband Marvin; his sister Joyce Quesenberry and her husband Billy; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Friends are welcome to call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Oakey's South Chapel, 4257 Brambleton Ave., Roanoke.
