Geneva R. Haluzak, 76, of Tolono, IL formerly of Bismarck, ND, Mahomet, IL and Monticello, IL Passed away Augh 18, 2005 at her home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday Aug 24, at Freese Funeral Home, 407 N. Bourne, Tolono.
Mrs. Haluzak was born Sept. 10 1938 in Slaughter Miss to Arlie and Lillian Henry Abbott. She married Mike Haluzak on Dec. 31 1956 in Watseka, IL, he survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Candace (James) Hagman of Gig Harbor, Wash; a son Kenneth (Ann) Haluzak of Tolono IL, three grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a brother Nathaniel (Joyce) Abbott of Selmer, TN.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Abbott and her parents.
She graduated for Eastern Illinois University. She was a beautician at JC Penney and later at John George in Savoy. She enjoyed singing with "The Chorale", working in the garden and with silk flowers.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
