It is with profound sadness and much love that we announce the passing of the matriarch of the Price Family, Jean Marie Price, 96, of natural causes on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, with her son John by her side. Jean’s sister, nephew, nieces, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends were all able to voice their love and memories to her before she spread her wings. Jean was loved by so many and a strong supporter of those she cared about.
Her family was her everything, but in her spare time she was also very passionate about reading books, completing puzzles, bird watching, tending to her vegetable and flower gardens and always seemed content to be outside "pulling those darn weeds." Jean was born to Victor and Margaret George on Jan. 8, 1925, in Columbus, Montana. She was raised on the George Family Ranch in Roscoe, Montana, and attended both universities in Bozeman and Missoula, graduating with a teaching degree. Her teaching career spanned 30 years in both Eastern and Western Montana.
In 1949 Jean and John “Jack,” “Johnny” Price were united in marriage and she would also embrace two daughters, Toby and Trudy, as her own for her entire life. Jack, Jean and the girls made their home in Trego where their son John and twins Mike and Michele were born, making them a family of seven.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Margaret George; husband, Jack; sisters, Pat George and Betty Randall; her twins, Mike and Michele; grandsons, Randy Cook and Dustin Price; and sons-in-law, Ray Siefke and Al Elliott.
Jean is lovingly survived by her sister, Mary Ellen (Art) Diercks, of Moorhead, Minnesota; son, John (Kathy) Price II, of Missoula; daughters, Toby Elliott of Lake Havasu, Arizona, and Trudy Siefke of Libby; son-in-law, Ben Cluka, of Kalispell; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with another one on the way.

There will be a celebration of her life following her interment at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell when the weather warms, the flowers bloom and the birds come home. The date yet to be determined. Memorials and donations in Jean’s honor can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
