Mr. David Wilson McCulley, age 41, of Covington, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke. He was the husband of Jill Stevenson McCulley.
Mr. McCulley was born September 24, 1974 in Covington, the son of Jasper Monroe McCulley, Jr. and the late Ella Louise Webb McCulley. During his working career, he had been employed by PMA Industrial. David loved to cook and was an avid outdoorsman.
In addition to his wife, Jill Stevenson McCulley, Mr. McCulley is survived by two sons, Gage Wilson McCulley and David Lee McCulley; two stepchildren, Christopher Alan Hatcher and wife, Tiffany and Ashley Brooke Myatt and husband, Andrew; three grandchildren, Annalise Hatcher, Marijane Hatcher and Caroline Hatcher; two brothers, James Daryl McCulley and wife, Shannon and Josh Craft and wife, LeAnn; two aunts, Karen Bowles and Clara McCulley; three uncles, Danny McCulley, Michael McCulley and wife, Sam and Edward McCulley; special friend, Betty, whom he called “Mom”; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his mother, Ella Louise Webb McCulley, Mr. McCulley was preceded in death by two aunts, Nancy Nicely and Rebecca Ramsey and an uncle, Vernon McCulley.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Friday, July 22, 2016, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. Doug E. Hollenbeck officiating.
