Mrs. Bates was born in East Liverpool, OH, to her late father Robert Hoskinson and mother Una Faye Hoskinson. She was a cashier for a truck stop until her health started to decline. Mrs. Bates’ had a loving family and will be deeply missed. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Eva Jane Bates.
Mrs. Bates is survived by her husband, Rodney L. Bates; daughter, Tina Brett and family; two brothers, Robert (Meg) O. Hoskinson and Jason (Liz) Hoskinson; three sisters, Deborah Copestick, Ruthelma (John) Jones, and Marsha Hoskinson-Industry; three nephews, Warrick Jones, Trinidy Jones, and William Copestick; several other nieces and nephews.
Per Mrs. Bates wishes, she will be cremated and taken back home to Ohio for inurnment of her remains at a later date.
