Final rites for James E. Day in Greenwood
Funeral services for James Edgar Day, 621 Mimosa St., will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of Williams and Lord Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Clifton Perkins will officiate.
Mr. Day died early Friday in Greenwood Leflore Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Edward Day of Memphis and Kenneth Day of Vienna, Austria; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Philley and Mrs. Jack Galey, both of Greenwood; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. L. R. Opp of Biloxi.
Nephews who will serve as pallbearers are: Gibb Farrish, Aubrey Henderson, J. P. Henderson, Alvin Henderson, Lynwood Holly and Earl Henderson.
