Eleanor A. (Martin) White, 83, a longtime resident of Somerset, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021. She was the wife of the late James F. White. Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Anthony C. Martin and the late Margaret M. (Purvis) Martin, she was a graduate of the former Truesdale Hospital Nursing School in Fall River, and later received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Roger Williams University. She worked as a school nurse her entire career, for the Somerset School System, in both the high school and the Chase St. School. She was a member of the Truesdale Hospital Nursing School Alumni Assoc.
