Wayne King Taylor (70) of Lexington, KY passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Wayne was born in Falmouth, KY on July 4, 1950 to the late Kenneth “Chalk” and Betty King Taylor.

Wayne was a bus monitor for many years for the Fayette County public school system, self-employed contractor and avid fisherman, hunter, the ultimate outdoorsmen. Survivors include sister Sandra Smith, nephew Morgan Smith, niece Jennifer Taylor, dear friends Jim Halfhill, Randy Overstreet, Venetta Colson, Cindy Hutcherson, Anita Trullinger. The family extends a very special thanks to Neil Smith.

Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the Peoples Funeral Home- Falmouth. Funeral will follow immediately at 2pm also at the funeral home. Wayne’s final resting place will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Falmouth. Memorials, if desired, are suggested to the Bluegrass Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph, 1 St. Joseph Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
