In addition to his parents he was preceded by his wife Joanne Katherine Marks; daughter Stephanie Lynn Marks; sister Ann Carter (Raymond) brother Glenn Marks; brother-in-law Ferdie Mangum.
He leaves to cherish his memory a son Joe Henry Marks III; brother David Marks (Faye); sisters Nancy Marks Jones (Ernest), Edith Bone and Dale Cockrell (Johnny), Betty Mangum; grandchildren Jayde Katherine Marks and Ellen Marie Strickland.
Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 1:00-1:45PM with funeral service to follow at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Potter officiating. Burial will be at Battleboro Cemetery.
