On February 05, 1954, she married Robert “Bob” E Ellis, Jr., whom she met in San Antonio, TX, while he was in the U.S. Air Force. They lived in Germany and France, and moved to Smyrna, GA when Bob retired. After her youngest son graduated from high school, she worked for Southern Bell (later Bellsouth) until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, James S Jinks and Evelyn C Jinks; husband of 62 years, Bob; and brother, James S Jinks, Jr.* She is survived by her daughter, Jan Baker and her husband, Thom Baker of Smyrna, GA; two sons, Robert "Bob" L Ellis and his wife, Lisa, of PA, and Jeff Ellis and his wife, Donna of Smyrna, GA; eight grandchildren, Stacy Benson and her husband, Jamie, of Canton, GA, Jaime Woods of AR, Christina Silva and her husband, Joe, of Los Angeles, CA, Christopher Baker and his wife, Jeanette, of Smyrna, GA, Amy Christine Ellis of CA, Christi Faulkner of Marietta, GA, Julie Chow and her husband, Karl, of Powder Springs, GA, and, Alexander B Ellis of Seattle, WA; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Savannah Faulkner, Karson Chow, Victoria Chow, Ansley Bailey, Maxwell Benson, Sawyer Benson, Caleb Johnson, Calailah Woods, Vincent Sharit, Ella Silva, Millie Silva, J P Baker, and Zach Baker.
