On February 1, 1949 in Livingston, Texas a beautiful baby girl was born to the late Mr. Adkin Jack Austin and Mrs. Pearlie Lee Youngblood Austin. They named her Velma Joyce.
Velma grew up in Livingston, Texas and attended public schools. She graduated in 1967. At a early age she accepted Christ and United with the Garner Chapel Missionary Baptist Church under the Leadership of Rev. Walker and remained there under the Leadership of Bishop Eldridge Nickson. In January 16,1988 she married the Love of her life, Mr. Bobby Dee Wallace. She was Employed with the LISD for 26 years until she retired in 2015.
She was proceeded in death by Both Parents, Daughter: Shalanea Austin, Brothers: Clemmie D. Austin, John Lee Austin, Adkin Jack Austin Jr., Thaddeus Austin, Sisters: Betty Joyce Austin, Berda Mae Smith.
She leaves to Cherish her Memories, A Loving and Devoted Husband, Mr. Bobby Dee Wallace of Livingston, Texas. Daughters: Cassandra Shine (Odis), Nicole Austin (Reggie), & Sandretta Gardner all of Livingston, Texas. Bonus Children: Lorine, Dorothy Nell (John), Barbara, Bobby Jr. (Cody), Brittany, Rebecca.
