Alfred C. Havens, 91, of 200 Kendall Street, formerly of 100 Keith Street, Springfield, a former manager at New Jersey Bell Telephone Company, died yesterday in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Asbury Park, NJ, he had lived in Ocean Grove, NJ, before moving to Springfield six years ago. A 32nd degree Mason, he was a member of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Lodge. He was a past President of the Asbury Park Rotary Club. He is survived by his widow, Leila M. Goddard Havens, a son , Alfred C. "Bud" of Northfield, a daughter . Jeanne N. Havens of Succasonna, NJ, and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be held Thursday morning at Hafey Forest Park Chapels with burial at the convenience of the family in Hamilton Cemetery, Neptune, NJ., Memorial contributions may be made to the Shiners Hospital for crippled children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield Mass 01104.
