Jerry Wayne Carter, 66 of Cookeville and formerly of Mayland, Cumberland County passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born Thursday, July 1, 1954, the son of the late Robert Carter and the late Estelle (Taylor) Carter.
Jerry is survived by Brother: Robert (Nancy) Carter; Son: Jeremiah Uder; Special Friend: Dianne Ashmore; 2 Brother-In-Laws: Joe Wood and Brownie Pryor; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by Sisters: Susan Pryor, Catherine Wood, and Marian 'Cookie" Page.
Jerry chose cremation, the family followed his wishes, and no services are planned at this time.
