Born on December 14, 1930 in Stratford, NY, a son of the late Gaylord and Leona Lanphere Boyer.
He was a lifelong area resident and attended local schools.
Robert was a self-employed farmer, logger and scrap collector for most of his life.
Mr. Boyer loved tractors, old classic trucks, and just being around his wife, Susan and his children, grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his loving wife Susan Smith Boyer of 57 years. He is also survived by his children, sons, Robert, Dale (Sharon), Tim (Wendy), Bruce(Laura), John, Daniel (Pauline) and Roger Boyer, daughters, Joanne Cox, Barbara Benton, Sandra (Randy) Mallett, Darlene (Fred) Bentley, Cindy (William) Yurkewecz, Vicki (Jason) Corapi and Mary (James) Click. Siblings, Glen, Florence and Rick Boyer. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by two daughters, Jean Weller and Phyllis Brown along with siblings Harold, John and Norman Boyer.
