Roger F. Murray, 83, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Sioux City, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at a Lincoln hospital following a brief illness.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Tom LoVan officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Roger was born April 9, 1937 in Anthon, Iowa, the son of William and Lois (Taylor) Murray. He graduated from Leeds High School in 1956, Morningside College in 1963 and the University of South Dakota with his Master's Degree in Education. He married Joann "Joan" Vohs in May of 1957 in South Dakota. Roger worked for the Nebraska Department of Health in Lincoln. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Lincoln.

Survivors include his wife Joann "Joan" Murray of Lincoln; daughters: Dana of Lincoln and Karen of Lincoln; brothers: Russell (Pam) Murray and Richard (Karen) Murray; and many nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents William and Lois Murray, and brother William (Mary) Murray.
