He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Ann Dallas Cunningham and his parents, Harry and Vivian Cunningham.
Larry was the owner of Resch's Tavern in Clarksville and was a retired teacher for Jeffersonville High School. Larry was a standout athlete in baseball and basketball at New Albany High School from 1958 to 1962 and went on to play both sports at Tennessee Wesleyan University. Later in his life, he and his wife Sharon enjoyed owning and breeding thoroughbred horses.
Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Cunliffe (Billy) of Sellersburg, Jennifer Cunningham of Sellersburg, a son, Mike Marn of Clarksville, two brothers, Harry Cunningham (Tina) of Pennsylvania, and Steve Cunnigham (Carla) of DuBois, Pennsylvania, two grandchildren, Evan Cunliffe of Jeffersonville and Lauren Cunliffe of Sellersburg and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic all funeral services will be private for the consideration of the family. Larry will be buried in Walnut Ridge Cemetery next to Sharon. Arrangements by Chapman Funeral Home.
