Robert E. Keel, age 74, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his residence.

He was born February 10, 1947, in Findlay, Ohio, a son of the late Robert L. Keel and Mary Jo Paul.

Robert proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Forrestal. He enjoyed studying American history, specifically the Civil War era. He loved to tell jokes and had a great sense of humor. Robert was a wonderful father and grandfather who would do anything for his family. He will be dearly missed.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Holly Keel (Carlos Sanchez), of Erie, and Stephanie Logan of Ocean Springs, Miss.; granddaughters, Alyssa Keel and Jennifer Raucci, of Erie; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jaila, Jaleya, and Aurora, all of Erie; and a brother, Mark Paul, of Cleveland, Ohio.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Guests must wear masks and abide by all social distancing standards.
