Retha Lee Moore, 83, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away on February 22, 2021 in Fort Smith, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 24, 1937 in Barber, Arkansas to the late Louie and Hester (Beckett) Phillips. She was retired from PRADCO in Fort Smith, AR.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, doing word searches, traveling, and the St. Louis Cardinals. She could always be found at a ball game or event cheering on her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Her favorite moments were spent surrounded by family. She was strong-willed, loving, and fiercely protective of the ones she loved.
Retha Lee is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Moore of Mansfield, four children: Charlene and husband Eugene Hannaman of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Marlene and husband Doug Dorrough of Mansfield, Arkansas, John David and wife Freda Moore of Grannis, Arkansas, and Teresa and husband Kevin Oxford of Witcherville, Arkansas. She is also survived by one brother, Robert Phillips of Gage, Oklahoma, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Hester Phillips, two sisters; Floramae Goff and Lorean Shackleford, and two brothers; LG Phillips and Louie Lee Phillips.
Visitation will be Wednesday February 24, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Mansfield.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield with Bro. Gary Colley officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Kevin Oxford, Doug Dorrough, Shawn Hattabaugh, Derek Morgan, Josh Allbritton, and Chris Moore. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Edward Holland, Robert Phillips, Traevin Copeland, Colt Allbritton, and Kannon Copeland.
