Vergie, age 98, passed away at Windsor Place in Coffeyville. She was the daughter of Charles J. and Vergie Mae (Madison) Dougherty. She married Lloyd Coons on August 26, 1945, in Wichita, then married Clifford Lutz.
Survivors include her stepdaughter, Ruthie Lutz, and her sister, Norma DeTar. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, and her brothers, Albert Dougherty, Norman Dougherty, and Raymond Dougherty.
Cremation has taken place. A Graveside Memorial Service and inurnment was held in South Center Cemetery.
