Dr. Jack Dale Cummings, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend went to be with our Lord Friday, February 19, 2021.

Jack was born on October 18, 1946 and married the love of his life, Sandra (Powell) Cummings on January 25, 1964. Jack and Sandra remained in love and married for 55 years, 8 months and 11 days until she preceded him in death in 2019.

Jack retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after serving his country for over 21 years. After retirement, Jack began his full-time preaching career with the 23rd & Grace Church of Christ in Wichita Falls. He later went on to serve the Lord as the preaching minister for several congregations throughout Texas and Oklahoma, finishing his career at the West Freeway Church of Christ in Fort Worth. Jack's heart for missions and evangelism was evident through the years of service he dedicated to outreach ministries, the Home Missions ministry, and schools of evangelism.

Jack built an indelible legacy of faithful service to the Lord, dedication to hard work and a deep love for family that will be forever cherished and continued throughout future generations. Psalm 78:6: "so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children."
