Hazel Marie Simpson – 92 of Knoxville went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church. Retired owner of Knoxville Linen and Towel service after 35 years.
Preceded in death by husband of 58 years, William Joseph Simpson; parents, Joe and Kate Delaney; great grandson, Connor Millsaps; and several brothers and sister.
Survived by children, Don (Debbie) Simpson, Brian (Pam) Simpson, Jean Millsaps, and Marsha (David) Robinson; grandchildren, Kelley Millsaps, Jonathan Robinson, Andrew Simpson, Cody Simpson, Angela Clevenger, and April Coleman; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Dewey Delaney; and special brother-in-law, John Simpson.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor David Collins officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 PM Thursday at Asbury Cemetery for a 1:00 PM interment.
