Samantha B. Fox, 32 of rural Fort Totten ND passed away at her home on Wednesday morning, February 17, 2021.

Samantha Brooke Fox was born January 4, 1989 to Lorraine White and the late Lee Fox. She was the second oldest of 11 children. In her early years she loved to travel to powwows with her family. She danced “old style jingle dress” and would often get frustrated when she wouldn’t win in the states but would take 1st place in Canada. She was gifted with talents in cheerleading. She had a beautiful voice and sang a solo in high school. Her younger days were spent with all her cousins and close friends. In the 7th and 8th grade, Samantha attended Crow Creek Middle School where she graduated from the 8th grade. From Crow Creek, she continued onto high school at Four Winds. After high school she attended Cankdeska Cikana Community College and Haskell University. As a young adult she worked at the Casino, Fire Hall and Cankdeska Cikana Community College Day Care.

Samantha became a mother at the age of 22 to a beautiful daughter, Jayden Rose Love Fox. Jayden is Samantha’s only baby girl along with her adopted son Dante Joseph WhiteBuffalo (son of the late Loretta WhiteBuffalo).

“My Mom was a very sweet, loving, kind, person. My Mom always loved putting cheese in a lot of her food. She knew a lot of people and was always there for them.” JAYDEN.

Samantha is survived by children Jayden Rose Love Fox and Dante WhiteBuffalo; siblings Bryan Hall (Jen), Tia Fox (Tye), Thomas Fox, Theodore Fox (Janessa), Mitchell Fox, Anthony Fox, Terrance Fox, Berdina Fox (Steven), Emilio Fox, Christopher Fox; nephews and nieces are Wambadi Hall, Havannah Gates, Omar Gates, Cierra Gates, Trent Gates, Kayani Gates, Tyler Rainbow, Julius Rainbow, Kingston Fox, Jon Fox, Aaliyah Fox, Zayvin Fox, Zyer Fox, Zayvier Fox; grandparents Evangeline White, Sally Cavanaugh, Flo and Spune Dunn, Birdy Fox and Yvonne Longie; aunties (White side) Patricia White, Marsha White, Melissa (Bentley) Greybear, Bonnie White (Jon), Wanda Trottier, Janet White, Delorine Smith; aunties (Fox side) Leanne Fox, LaDonna Fox, Colleen Alberts, Leola White, Alvina Thompson, Beverly LaBelle, Suzie Fox and Karen Skye; uncle (White side) Jerrit Longie; uncles (Fox side) Roger Alberts and George Longie Jr. many cousins and dear friends also survive.
