Johnny Ancil Beavers, age 101, of Mackville, passed away at 1:01 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2021 at the Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. A native of Washington County, he was born on January 30, 1920 to the late William "Will" and Mattie Skimerhorn Beavers. He was a member of the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church and a retired farmer.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Anna Belle Ross Beavers on September 13, 2002; a son-in-law, Leonard Walston on August 11, 2006; two sisters, Flossie Burkhead and Beulah Mudd and six brothers, Raymond, Carl, Joe Marshall, Walker, Curtis and Morgan Beavers.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Carey and her husband, Marvin of Cardwell and Carolyn Walston of Louisville; two grandsons, Timothy Lynn Walston and his wife, Kim and Christopher Dale Walston and four great grandchildren, Cody, Emily, Ty and Lissy Walston.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24th at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John McDaniel, officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg. Serving as pallbearers will be Marvin Carey, Tim Walston, Chris Walston, Ty Walston, Cody Walston and Mike Byrd.
