Harold Milton Walker

Reno - Harold Milton Walker died peacefully on February 16, 2021. He was 102 years old. He was born April 30, 1918, son of Roy and Cecil Walker in Lethbridge, Alberta Province, Canada and grew up Whittier, CA. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 1 brother and his son William.

His passing is grieved by his daughter-in-law Susan Walker of Reno, his granddaughter Elizabeth and husband Andy Concannon of Gardnerville, great-grandson Casey Duryee, wife Hannah and great-great granddaughters, Penelope and Ruby of San Diego, and his brother Ray Walker.

Harold was a Teamster for 56 years. He hauled produce, gasoline, ammunition (during WWII), logs, and asphalt along the West Coast. For many years, he drove snow removal equipment for Cal Trans on Donner Summit in the winter. He concluded his work as a teacher of apprentices for Teamster's Local 533 in Reno, NV.

His life was full and rich with adventures along with his wife Elizabeth who died in 1994. They were married for 45 years.

Always a gentleman, he spoke his mind when needed. Harold was a kind soul who enriched many lives over many years.
