Dennis was born August 19, 1953 in Newark, Ohio to the late Donald Wilbur and Ila Jean (Allen) Mason. He passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Altercare Newark North.
Den-Den drove a dump truck for many years for various companies in the area. He was a former volunteer for the Hebron Fire Department. Den-Den was a member of the Hebron Christian Church and was a former member of the Eagles Aerie 2801. He had an assigned seat at the Tap Room, otherwise known as “his office”. Den-Den enjoyed participating in travel Dart and Euche leagues in the Hebron and Buckeye Lake area. An avid sports fan, Den-Den loved following the OSU Buckeyes, Bengals, Reds and NASCAR. He was a dedicated fan of the Lakewood Lancers and tried to never miss a baseball or a softball game.
He is survived by four brothers, Donald (Jan) Mason of Hebron, Tim (Patsy) Mason of St. Louisville, Chris (Carla) Mason of Bradenton, Florida and Clifford (Rose) Mason of Hebron; a sister, Connie Mason of Hebron; sisters-in-law, Debbie Mason of Abilene, Texas and Patty Mason of Hebron; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia "Ginny" (Johnson) Mason; and by two brothers, Jeff and Terry Mason.
