Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Zollie and Ellie D. Jones Jackson, his wife of fifty-three years Hattie Bradley Jackson and his grandson Lyle Conn.
Tommy served his Country in the United States Airforce. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids and was retired from International Paper.
He is survived by his sons, Edward “Ed” Jackson and his wife Lisa of Roanoke Rapids and Robert Jackson of Greenville; his grandchildren Emily Jackson, Kristopher Jackson and Meghan Conn Bennett and her husband Brent; his great grandson Joseph Carlyle Bennett.
