Robert Eddie Kyzer passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Community Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Kyzer was 91 years of age, born in Tuscaloosa County, Ala., on Aug. 16, 1916, and moved his family to Panama City, Fla., in 1949 to begin a construction business.

He was predeceased by his wonderful wife of 66 years, Ollie Mae Kyzer, in 2005. They celebrated their 66th anniversary while they were both residents at Community Health & Rehabilitation Center. He also was predeceased by his parents of Tuscaloosa, Ala., John Henry and Ritta Kyzer; sister, Gracie Beard; and brothers, Fleet, Floyd, Fletcher and Howard Kyzer. He is survived by one sister, Gretel Ragland, of Tuscaloosa, Ala. He also is survived by one daughter, Betty Brannon and hus-band, Ed, of Lynn Haven, Fla.; one son, Aubrey Kyzer and wife, Myrtle, of Ashford, Ala.; four grand-children, Steve Brannon and wife, Debbie, of Lynn Haven, Fla., Stuart Brannon and wife, Sandy, of Panama City, Fla., Tina Worley and husband, Randy, of Cowarts, Ala., and Dennis Kyzer of Dothan, Ala.; and five great-grandchildren, Brett Brannon, Blake Brannon, Shaun Worley, Zach Worley and Tiffany Kyzer.

Mr. Kyzer was in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He loved his country and en-joyed telling all about his experiences while in the Navy. He was in the construction business most of his life in Panama City, Fla.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, in Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.

The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Community Health & Rehabilitation Center, especially to Tameka, Candy, Gregg, Jeanie, Viola, Christy, Deanna, Jackie and Kelley for all the love and care you gave our father during his illness. Also, a special thanks to the employees and nurses of Covenant Hospice for all of their love and care who were so helpful in many ways.
