Funeral services for Mrs. Gorda E. Dixon, 47, who died suddenly Sunday night at her home following a major operation, were held yesterday afternoon at Phipps Chapel. Interment was made in the Kingsburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Dixon, a native of Kansas, came here some five years ago and has managed the Antler's Hotel where she made her home.
She is survived by her husband, C.C. Dixon: three sons and a daughter as follows: Harold Dixon of Kingsburg, Merle Dixon of Fresno, Bery C. Dixon of Hanford and Claudine Dixon of Lemoore. A brother, C.C.Ashcroft, lives in Selma and there are five brothers and a sister in the East.
