Beverly Lewis, age 70, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. She was born June 23, 1950, in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late George Sr. and Ethelyn (St. Cyr) Rodenmeyer. On September 7, 1968, in St. Charles, she was united in marriage to Clyde H. Lewis, Jr., who preceded her in death on September 19, 2010.
Beverly was a member of the Osage Community Elks Lodge #2705 in Laurie and the Lions Club in both Hurricane Deck and Rocky Mount where she enjoyed working and playing bingo. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and treasured the time she spent with them. She was baptized on July 9, 2000, at the Open Door Christian Fellowship in Laurie.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Tina Lewis and husband Robert Adair of Tipton, Missouri; children (grandchildren), Christina Thomas (Lorn), Alyssa Murphy (Danny) and Breana Murphy all of Tipton, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Hunter, Carter, Adelynn and Chase; her son, Robert Lewis and wife Tina of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
A private family celebration of Beverly’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel.
