Rebecca Morton, 51, of 111 Warren Court, Martinsville, died Saturday, March 16, 2002, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County.
She was born in Greensboro, N.C., on Sept. 30, 1950, to Virginia Gauldin Morton and the late Robert W. Morton Sr.
She was a graduate of Mayodan High School in Mayodan, N.C.
Surviving in addition to her mother are a sister, Brenda Morton Briggs of Martinsville; a brother, Robert W. Morton Jr.; three nieces and one nephew.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Community Funeral Services chapel. The Revs. Don Thomas and Charles R. Tomlinson officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.
The family will receive friends today from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
